Winchester City Flyers are delighted to announce the signing of teenage winger Amy Smith.
The youngster has plied her trade in the FA Women's National League Reserves Division playing for AFC Bournemouth Development and Southampton Women's FC Reserves over the last two seasons.
Smith made a total of 24 appearances over the last two seasons for the Cherries and the Sirens while scoring on five occasions.
Her time with Bournemouth was successful as the team went on to win the National League Reserves South West title and reaching the Reserve Cup Final narrowly losing to a strong Oxford United Development side.
The winger has impressed the coaching team throughout pre-season so far and has agreed to be Winchester's third signing of the summer.
On joining the Flyers Smith said: "I knew of Winchester’s amazing reputation since my youth football days.
"So, I was interested in the opportunity to play for them when it came up.
"I have enjoyed my time so far with all the players and coaching staff being so welcoming.
"I pride myself on my fitness and technical ability and this season I am aiming to help the team finish as high up the league as we can."
