Winchester City Flyers are delighted to announce the signing of forward Sian Wylie.
Wylie has spent most of her senior career with the Dons and made a total of 94 appearances after joining them in 2014 from Basingstoke.
She helped them gain promotion to the FA Women’s National League in 2016 as the team went undefeated in the league and narrowly lost the Surrey County Cup final 2-1 to Crystal Palace.
While spending most of her time defending, Wylie did find the back of the next 25 times during her stay with the Wombles.
After joining Wimbledon, she moved to Southampton Women’s FC, where she was converted from a right back to a forward.
Wylie made over 50 appearances for Southampton and scored 23 times for them across three seasons.
Manager Emma Pearmine was delighted to bring in the former FA Women’s National League player.
She said: “It’s fantastic to have Sian on board. With a lot of experience at a higher level, I’m glad she’s decided to choose us to come back and play.
“We’ve already seen snippets of her ability, but can’t wait to see what the season holds.”
