Winchester City Flyers will be looking to make it back-to-back Southern Region League Cup semi-finals when Abingdon United Development visit on Sunday.
Fresh off a frustrating afternoon in High Wycombe, drawing 2-2 with Beaconsfield Town, the Flyers will be wanting a quick return to their winning ways.
Emma Pearmine's side find themselves on a seven-game unbeaten run in all competitions stretching back to the middle of November.
Last weekend, Winchester tried to make it seven wins in a row and started well against Beaconsfield as Sharna Capel-Watson put through Chelsie Hay to open the scoring.
However, a determined Rams outfit hit the Flyers back with two quick goals before the half-time break.
Into the second-half Winchester kept the hosts in check but struggled to find a breakthrough until Hay was brought down late on inside the penalty box and the striker coolly dispatched the spotkick, which meant that the points were shared on the day.
The Flyers remain second in the league despite Reading's win over Oxford City put the two sides level on points.
For Sunday's visitors, Abingdon United finally played their third round tie match against Fleet Town.
The Oxfordshire-based side caused a cupset against the Premier Division side as they ran out 2-1 winners.
April England and Chloe Forrester bagged the important goals to put Abingdon into the quarter-finals to face Winchester.
United are having a strong season, sitting third in the Southern Region Division One North.
They've lost just three games all season and won't want to make it four when they travel to Winchester.
