Winchester City Flyers head towards Bristol in the Third Qualifying Round of the Women’s FA Cup to take on Mangotsfield United.
The South West Regional Division One North side are currently unbeaten this season and have won their opening four games.
United entered the FA Cup back in August taking on Whitchurch in the Preliminary Round.
It was a tight affair but goals from Adele Elliott and Amy Goozee saw the Mangos win 2-1.
They hit the grounding running from their scoring 29 goals in their next three fixtures.
A 13-2 and a 7-1 win in the FA Cup followed this against Hereford and Wells City which saw them line up the Third Qualifying Round tie with Winchester.
Helena Constantinou was the standout player across the two games scoring 11 goals and is currently the competition’s leading goal scorer.
Last weekend United hosted Cirencester Town in their first league outing and stormed to a 9-0 win.
Constantinou bagged a brace while Lola Hicks netted a hat-trick as the Mangos romped to victory.
They will be looking to make history and reach the First Round Proper of the FA Cup for the first time in their history.
Winchester head into the game on the back of three consecutive wins in all competitions including the 7-1 victory over league rivals Fleet Town.
They come into the game off the back of a tough encounter with former FA Women’s National League side Chesham United.
The Flyers went 1-0 up through Freya Twigg but were quickly pegged back before Charlie Snelling and Chelsie Hay both scored before the break.
Chesham hit back in the second-half enjoying more of the ball and the opportunities.
They found a second goal and despite an improved performance from them the Winchester defence held firm to see out a good 3-2 win and returned to Hampshire with the three points.
It will be a tough encounter against a free scoring side looking to cause an upset.
