Winchester City Flyers will be looking to bounce back from the defeat to AFC Portchester when they travel to Selsey on Sunday.
The Seal currently sit bottom of the Southern Region Premier League with the threat of back-to-back relegations looming.
With just two points to their name coming from two draws against fellow strugglers Badshot Lea every game is now looking like must wins for the former FA Women's National League outfit.
When the two sides met earlier in the season the Flyers stormed to a 2-0 lead in the first-half through Annie Northwood and Libby Wilkinson.
Experienced defender Gemma Halford pulled one back on the hour mark before Kayleigh Tonks added a third for Winchester.
A late goal for Kate Delisllis made it 3-2 and a tense finish to the game at the Charters Community Stadium but the three points did go to the Flyers.
The Seals are on a run of 10 consecutive defeats in all competitions with their last win coming against Abbey Rangers in the League Cup.
On the other side Winchester have already improved upon last season as they we second from bottom on 10 points this time last year and have nearly double that this term with also three excellent cup runs to their names.
Emma Pearmine's teams' form since the middle of November has been vastly improved over the start of the season with just the two defeats in 12 games in all competitions.
While they currently sit 7th the Flyers are not far off the middle of the table and the the remaining games could make a late run for the top four if the positive results keep coming which they hope to make a start on at the Seal Bay Resort Stadium on Sunday.
A win for Winchester would see them leapfrog Sholing in 6th and really narrow the gap on the sides above.
The trip to the south coast is the first of three games in eight days for the Flyers, an usual event for them this season, with the North Hampshire DFA Cup Final on Wednesday night followed by the Southern Region League Cup Semi-final trip to league rivals Sholing next Sunday.
It's a busy end to the season for Winchester with the chance to bring home some silverware and continue the improvements made from the previous season.
