Winchester City Flyers are delighted to announce the loan signing of highly rated forward, Scarlett Kirby, from Moneyfields.

The 16-year-old joined the Portsmouth based FA Women’s National League side this summer from AFC Bournemouth’s youth set-up.

Kirby now joins Winchester to gain first team experience, as Moneyfields sees the teenager as a hot prospect for them.

Winchester manager Emma Pearmine said: “I’m excited to work with Moneyfields again on another loan signing.

“Scarlett is an excellent young talent, with strength, skill and great finishing ability.

“I think we can really help develop her talent throughout the course of the season. We are thrilled to have our own board.”

Moneyfields manager Karl Watson was full of positives over the loan move for Kirby, he said: “The loan move to Winchester City Flyers is a fantastic opportunity for her to step into senior football.

“That environment will challenge her physically and mentally, and the experience will be invaluable.

“We’re confident Scarlett will flourish during her time there and return ready to compete for a place in our first-team squad.”
