The Firehawks delivered exactly the response they were looking for this weekend with a confident 3–0 win over Gosport Falcons.

With S James and I Kemp making their debut appearances for the team, the tone was set early when H Creese opened the scoring with a composed finish inside the first ten minutes. Behind her, the defensive trio of C Lartey, E Rumsey and E Haigh provided a solid foundation, limiting opportunities and allowing the team to dominate possession. Further forward, E Cracknell, E Ambrozie and I Kemp kept the pressure high and the tempo strong, ensuring Gosport were constantly on the back foot.

The second half brought more of the same intent. L Reynolds doubled the lead after a well-worked move with E Grant, demonstrating the sharp link-up play that is becoming a hallmark of this team. Shortly afterwards, L Reynolds turned provider, threading a perfectly weighted pass into E Waters, who showed great composure and confidence to finish decisively and put the result firmly beyond reach.

With S James assured between the posts when called upon and the whole team maintaining intensity until the final whistle, it was a complete performance from back to front.

A strong, united display and a thoroughly deserved clean sheet to match.
