The Firehawks produced an impressive display on the road with a commanding 5–0 victory against Hythe & Dibden Thundercats.

The visitors made a strong start and set the tone early, taking the lead just two minutes into the match. E Cracknell finished confidently after good work from L Reynolds to give the Firehawks immediate control.

The advantage was doubled midway through the first half in spectacular fashion. L Reynolds struck an outstanding free kick from distance, finding the net with precision and power to extend the lead.

Momentum remained firmly with the Firehawks, and a third goal followed shortly after on 25 minutes. E Waters converted from close range, with L Reynolds again involved in the build-up, highlighting the team’s effective attacking combinations.

The second half continued in similar fashion. On 40 minutes, L Reynolds added her second of the afternoon, finishing well from an assist by H Creese. She then completed an excellent hat-trick on 51 minutes, this time converting from E Cracknell’s pass to round off an accomplished team performance.

In addition to the attacking display, the clean sheet was particularly pleasing. The defensive unit remained organised and disciplined throughout, limiting opportunities and ensuring control was maintained from start to finish.

Overall, this was a confident and cohesive performance from the Firehawks, reflecting the hard work being put in during training and demonstrating the squad’s growing consistency.
