The Firehawks made it back-to-back wins with a composed 2–0 victory at home against Baffins New Milton in what proved to be one of the more demanding fixtures of the season.

Baffins arrived as an organised and physically imposing side, and the first half reflected the challenge they posed. Both teams created chances in an end-to-end opening period, with the Firehawks going in search of the opener with real intent. However, the Baffins goalkeeper was in excellent form, denying everything that came her way. At the other end, M Robinson was equally impressive, called upon on several occasions and producing a series of assured saves to ensure the scores remained level at the break. A 0–0 scoreline that did not tell the full story of an engrossing first half.

The breakthrough came ten minutes into the second half. E Cracknell made a decisive run and delivered a perfectly weighted ball to H Creese, who converted with steely determination to give the Firehawks the lead.

Five minutes from the final whistle, team captain L Reynolds demonstrated her quality with a beautiful cross that found E Cracknell on the left, who finished confidently to seal the victory and put the result beyond doubt.

Throughout the match, the defensive unit was outstanding — organised, disciplined and fearless. Baffins were given very little to work with, and their contribution was central to securing the clean sheet and ultimately the result.

Overall, this was another encouraging performance from the Firehawks, reflecting the squad's growing maturity and tactical understanding. The team continues to improve with each fixture, and the combination of defensive solidity and attacking quality bodes well for the weeks ahead.
