Winchester City Flyers kick off their Women's FA Cup campaign on Sunday, hosting Fleet Town in the Second Qualifying Round.

For the last two seasons, the Flyers have reached the First Round Proper, their best-ever run in the competition.

Emma Pearmine will be hoping her side can go at least one round better this year, but standing in their way is fellow Southern Region side, Fleet.

The Blues have had a tough start to the new season, losing their two opening fixtures 3-0 and 7-2 against Oxford City and Reading respectively.

Lily Martin and Priya Wilson scored for Town as they took on the Royals at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

Fleet will be looking to pick up their first win of the season when they arrive at the Charters Community Stadium.

For the Flyers they bounced back from their opening day defeat with an emphatic win over Beaconsfield Town.

Striker Chelsie Hay broke the deadlock early on before Beaconsfield pulled one back from a great freekick by their player-manager Alix Todd.

It was short-lived though, as Hay scored three more times in the opening 45 minutes as Winchester took full control of the game.

Ellie Parker's goal stayed unchallenged as Charlie Snelling grabbed herself a hat-trick after the break before Libby Wilkinson fired in a great freekick late on in the game.

Fleet and the Flyers met twice in the league last season, with the latter coming out on top in both fixtures.

When the two sides met in late September, Hay made her debut in a 7-1 win at the Charters as she scored her first hat-trick for the club.

Annie Northwood also scored three while Laura da Silva wrapped up the victory.

The reverse fixture was a tighter affair, but Winchester still came out on top with a 3-0 win that cemented second place.

If neither side can be separated after 90 minutes, then the two sides will head straight to penalties for the winner to be decided.

The winner of the fixture will progress into the next round and will earn £3,500 while the losing side will receive £1,000.
